About PeopleField.org Your local community classifieds and forums PeopleField is the community center, coffee shop bulletin board, and flyer-emblazed light post bundled into an online site. We're the spot to ask your neighbors about available housing, goods, employment, and social activities. Since October 2001 we've offered online classifieds and forums to the city of Calgary and Edmonton, and we will continue to do so for the years ahead. During this time we have been active in bringing non-profit, charities, and citizens' better ways to exchange goods and services. As we grow in popularity, we'll expand to other cities and countries. In 2003 we expanded our services to cover every provincial capital and then some additional cities. We're working on extending our name, our presence, and - most importantly - creating a real online community. In late 2004 we launched a completely new look, feel, and set of features. In Jauary 2005 we added a local Community Directory, and all state capitals in the US. We hope that the system works to bring you access to local goods, and local community. PeopleField is a manifestation of this belief - that a local, online, community system assists people in meeting basic requirements: shelter (housing), sustenance (jobs, classifieds), and social requirements (talk/forums).
