Click for profile 		Hi I am an electrician from the UK. I am hoping to come to Winnipeg to live and work and will be applying as soon as I have enough points.

Can anyone give me any advice as a potential newcommer to Winnipeg, especially the weather. It might seem as silly question but for someone who comes from the UK were it doesnt drop below 0C the cold does concern me. How do you get through the winter, especially if you might have to work outside as I do?

Does anyone know what the construction industry is like in Winnipeg, more specifically the demand for electricians? if its anything like the UK only plumbers are in short supply.

Anyway any input will be most appreciated
