New Member Registered	hi there, my girlfriend and i want to move to Calgary for 3 or 4 months and work part time during the snow season , . Is it easy to get a job this time of year or will we be one of many with the same idea ? Also , hows the accom. ? we'll do anything to get out of an english winter

New Member Registered	Is an english winter colder or worse than a Calgary winter???? EEEEK! You're in for a shock, and a lot of -30 weather... There's a ton of work here of all kinds. Service industry, oil and gas...although if you're looking for work on a ski hill, I'd check out Banff or Lake Louise. Calgary isn't so much of a tourist destination in the winter. The money goes to the mountains. Even heading to BC to some of the smaller mountains (Silver Star, Big White) may be good... Good luck!
