New Member Registered	Hi, I've been in Calgary for a few years but still haven't got around to make friends... just busy with work and studying. I would love to meet people in the same situation. Only for friendship.

New Member Registered	Hey there. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one suffering from the social blues. I moved here from Hamilton almost 3 years ago and other than my boyfriend and some of his friends, I really haven't met anyone to hang out with. Even people I work with are my age (mid 30's....sigh.......) but they all have kids or their own social lives and no one is ever really up for beers after a 12 hour shift. I never thought it would be this hard. K

New Member Registered	Just moved here from Halifax NS. I am a 33 year old full time Dad of a 3.5 year old boy. We just know a few people and would like to find more people with children for my son have someone to hang out with. I have been a full time parent since his birth and havent had more than a few hours away from him - he could really use a break (haha). Anyhow, if anyone still frequents this forum drop me a line.

I am in my twenties and my boyfriend just turned 30. We'd love to meet other couples in our age bracket. New Member Registered	Hey all, I posted on another thread too. Definetly looking for friends also.. In my early 20's, out of the 'bar scene'. I enjoy walking/hiking, any sort of art, gardening, pets, (other people's) kids, have a barbeque and fire pit in the backyard that I will be using all summer, and.. well, I like stuff. New Member Registered	seems Calgarian are kind of keep to themselves, so many ppl here find hard to make friends. i've been in calgary for a year, i go to university but ppl are tend to hang out with friends that they already have from high school. well, since we all have same problems i believe that we could make some friends at least from here

I have been in Calgary for three years now, but other then my bf and family, I have yet to met new friends. Im 23 years old and I thought school would be a great place to meet people, yet at Mount Royal seem to keep to themselves. I would love to hear from some nice Calgarians and maybe grab a cup of coffee!
