Animated Member Member	I didn't even know such books existed! Children's poetry into latin! I don't know if any books exist, but I'm sure from that latin text you could use some of it to search on Google or AllTheWeb to find more examples!

Active Member Registered	Hi babybunting I think the book that I had was called Living Latin. It had a bergundy cover but it didn't have the poems. It was authored by R. Rutheford H. Page who just happened to be the principal of the school that I was at in Toronto at the time. It appears that you have just exposed my old Latin teacher, Mr. Payne. I thought he made up the poems (the translations) himself. As a result muffeta puella is not trustworthy for spelling. What I offered is the way I remember it sounding. Right, Humptus Dumptus in muro sedet. (after all, Humptus was singular).
