posted in Looking for friends 30 December 2006 11:49 PM My wife and I moved to Calgary from New Brunswick in July of 2005. We are both looking to expand our network of friends (which is small in Calgary). Find it hard to meet friends in work environments and we are not into the bar scene anymore. posted in Lonely in a city of a million 30 December 2006 11:35 PM My wife and I are in the same type of situation. She is really shy at meeting new people, but we both want to meet new people. We have been in this city since July 2005. We do know people here, but time to expand our circle of friends. We are younger as well, I am 26 and her 30. No kids, unless the cat can be considered a kid. She is more spoiled then a lot of people I know. And did someone mention beer.
