posted in Universal Energy Scam: Rates Higher than Local PUC 03 October 2007 6:31 PM Same story here with Energy Savings in Ontario...hydro bills doubled...they told me that maybe something was wrong with my meter...$720 cancellation fee....six kids; not an easy amount to come up with but neither are double hydro bills... I told the lady on the phone that I do not know how someone could stay employed for a company like that??? Of course, she did not answer that one...it is sad. How do they sleep??? Just waiting now for some letter to come in the mail from them for the cancellation fee...has anyone had any luck not paying it? Something really needs to be done about this...	Ontario Forum
